Accessibility at Blue Water

Blue Water Technology Group is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building the site well, not as an afterthought.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium and are the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508.

How we're doing

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working on the areas listed below.

Known issues

We are aware of the following and are working to resolve them:

  • Some images are placeholders and do not yet carry final descriptive text
  • Project gallery sections are not yet populated with real photography
  • Some color combinations are still being finalized against contrast requirements

What we've built in

  • Keyboard navigation throughout, including the services menu
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
  • Motion that respects your system's reduced-motion setting
  • Semantic headings and landmarks for screen reader navigation
  • Text that reflows without loss of content at 320 pixels and at 200% zoom

Tell us about a barrier

If you run into something on this site that you can't use, we want to know. It helps us fix it for you and for the next person.

We aim to respond within two business days.
